Accessed by a dirt track of approximately 1.7km from the main road, the property nestles in the shade of a small wood in the centre of some 30,000m2 (approximately 7 and a half acres) of fertile land. In good overall structural condition the property has a build size of 340m2 spread over two floors with a further 60m2 of covered porch running along the front, some 150m2 of outbuildings (in a poor state of repair) to the rear, and a 35m2 cave which is used as the bodega.

The land is planted with a variety of fruit trees and grape vines and has access to virtually unlimited supplies of free irrigation water. If required, mains electricity is available approximately 2km from the property and there is a mains water pipe approximately 1km away. We have not been able to identify where the nearest phone line is but you get a good mobile signal and can always use satellite for phone and internet access.

The current accommodation is standard higgledy-piggledy Spanish style with one room leading to another to another, and is in various states of repair from just about habitable down to fit for animals. Essentially the interior needs gutting and completely redoing - but should provide ample space for at least 8 bedrooms, several bathrooms, kitchen, living room and dining room. If required, additional guest accommodation could be created from the outbuildings but this would be a knock down and rebuild job.

The nearest town is approximately 5km away and the airport and coast can both be reached within about 45 minutes.

This would make an ideal rural hotel or a truly grand country house.
